If you answered YES to any of these questions, then commit yourself today and "Take the Leap Of Faith in your Life and Join the Movement"
WARNING: Making the commitment to take the Leap Of Faith in your life will not be an easy path to follow, for the world in which we live and our sinful nature will make it very difficult to remain steadfast and true. However, I can tell you from my own experience that by following these simple steps you will begin to see positive change in your life.
God Loves You and wants you to know Him so He can fill your life with everlasting peace, joy and hope.
However since the beginning of time, we have chosen to disobey God and go our own way. As a result we have been separated from God.
But God loved the people of this world so much that He gave His only begotten son, so that everyone who has faith in Him will not perish, but have have eternal life.
Jesus said, "I came so that everyone would have life, and have it in its fullest."
There is only one way back to God, and that is through Jesus Christ the Son of God, who died on the Cross and rose from the grave to pay the penalty for our sins and bridge the gap between God and His people.
God has provided “the way”, but we must make the choice.
We must choose to trust Jesus Christ to forgive us of our sins, receive Him as our Savior and serve Him as our Lord.
If you want to take the Leap of Faith and give your life over to Jesus Christ, then pray the following prayer in earnest and accept Jesus as your Savior:
Dear Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose from the grave to give me life. I know You are the only way to God. So now I want to quit disobeying You and start living for You. Please forgive me, change my life and show me how to know You.
In Jesus' name. Amen.
Faith comes by hearing the message of Christ, and hearing comes from the word of God, therefore it is essential to set aside time each day to study the Bible in order to gain a greater understanding of the Christian Faith and build your relationship with God.
Now I'm not talking about just going to church on Sundays, I'm talking about about really sitting down each day and studying God's word and connecting with Him. For the Bible teaches us not only about the message of the kingdom of heaven, but how to deal with our everyday difficulties and struggles.
To begin with, select a good Study Bible that summarizes each book of the Bible, it is important to understand the context of each book and how it relates to the overall message of the Bible. All too often in today's world we see people paraphrasing select verses from the Bible to justify their own fears and condemnation of others without understanding the context of which the verse applies. Once you begin to understand the context of each book within the Bible, you can begin to delve into the individual chapters and verses to further your knowledge and understanding. I would also encourage you to research the history of the Christian Faith and its relationship to other religions, by doing so you will get a better understanding of the differences of each Faith and be able to defend yourself amongst your critics.
Next, make your study time a priority and schedule a time of day where you can focus and connect with God. So often in our lives we get so focused on the deadlines and commitments that we feel must be accomplished, but the reality is, none of this will add a single breath to your life. However, if you make God a priority you will find that everything else will take care of itself, And once you've completed your daily studies, it is important to take time to meditate and pray for wisdom and understanding. In addition, it is a good idea to seek others ways to surround yourself with positive enforcement, such as joining a faith group, daily devotional or Faith Blog, attend a church or other positive environments where you can gain support and encouragement in your journey in Faith.
And finally, God wants nothing more than to have an intimate and loving relationship with you, and our prayers allow us to have that connection. Take time each day to humble yourself before God and ask Him to show you how to live your life for His glory, ask Him to let the joy and peace that comes from knowing Christ rule in your heart. Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your life, and give praise to God with a thankful heart. And whatever you do or say, let it be done as a representative of our Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.
If we truly are faithful followers of Jesus Christ we should live our lives by example through the way we conduct our own lives as believers.
In other words, living a life in FAITH means expressing our FAITH with acts of tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience and forgiveness. And above all, with LOVE. For it is LOVE which binds us all together in perfect harmony, and it is only when our FAITH is expressed in acts of love for one another that we truly exemplify the fullness and spirit of FAITH.
For when the light of God radiates through us in our words and actions we may plant the seed in others to look towards the heavens and accept Jesus into their lives as well.
